Yesterday, miome and I discovered an Imperial moth on our apartment door. The one we saw looked a lot like the one in the first photograph: about half brown and half yellow. We're getting into one of my favorite times of the year. Why is it my favorite time of the year? Because the weather is nice enough that I can regulate the temp. in my apartment by opening/closing windows. That means I don't have to run the stupid heat pump and I don't have $600 electric bills.

Also, one month and 6 days till my birthday. XD

Why can't cats clean up after themselves?

Why do half the things they do end up with me yelling "MY DEPOSIT!"?

So... last night the apartment building next to ours caught on fire.

Long night was long. And not helped by the fact that I fly out to GA this evening, won't have internet, and won't be back to Sunday.
